“I would walk on it (set) and all of a sudden there would be, like, a million babies, crying and stuff and I said, ‘They should do the trailer for the movie just panning through all these babies crying and me with a Jack Daniel’s.” GEORGE CLOONEY on working with new dads MATT DAMON and BRAD PITT on the set of OCEAN’S THIRTEEN....
Glaring omissions from Oscar nights past
February 26th 2007
Now that the Academy Awards show is over for another year, I’ll spend a few minutes trying, once again, to unravel the process by which a film even gets a chance to be named “Best Picture.”
Actually, I thought the five choices this year were good. But which excellent films...

The pair’s collaboration on 1998 movie OUT OF SIGHT propelled them both to Tinseltown superstardom...
“Swag sort of became politically incorrect last year when George Clooney decided to donate his Oscars gift bag to the United Way (disaster relief fund),” bemoans Mark Harris, of WOW Creations, one of a dozen companies specialising in getting bags and stars together. “It’s a fickle, fickle town and nobody wanted to be seen to...
