The Mask Project — a collection of more than 500 masks by celebrities, musicians, national and local artists, sports figures, chefs, executives, political and community leaders, is open in the Cherry Creek Shopping.
See masks from everyone from George Bush to George Clooney, from Barack Obama to John McCain, from Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson to Ellen DeGeneres, Matt Lauer and Robert Redford. There’s masks from John Elway which comes with a signed Ring of Fame football, from Colorado Rockies’ Jeff Francis and Cory Sullivan, plus the Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets. Looks for masks by chefs who cooked up premiums with their masks and a mask by Yoko Ono which comes with a night’s stay in the Beatles Suite, compliments of the Brown Palace Hotel. Look for other premiums as well as masks by local and national artists.

Bid online at www.themaskproject.org for masks and to buy tickets to The Mask Project Gala on May 31 when the Cherry Creek Shopping Center is transformed into Venice Carnival. All proceeds from the sale of masks and the gala benefit The Denver Hospice which has 700 patients and families under its care each day and never turns anyone away for lack of ability to pay.
